Link Tracking

Every Click Has a Name. Every Deposit Has a Source.

Paste an affiliate link into Telegram and, at best, you'll know how many people clicked. TeleBoost gives each contact their own short link, then listens for your affiliate program's postback — so sign-ups and deposits come back attached to the person, the message and the account that brought them.

A link per contact

One tag in your message becomes a personal short link for every recipient.

Deposits, not just clicks

Your affiliate program's postback reports sign-ups, FTDs and deposits back on the contact.

Country & device routing

Your affiliate dashboard says “Telegram: 40 deposits”. Which 40?

Affiliate marketing on Telegram has a blind spot right in the middle. You send messages from several accounts, to people found in dozens of groups, with three or four versions of the same pitch. Then your affiliate program reports a number at the end of the month — and nothing in between tells you which account, which group, which message or which person it came from.

So the decisions get made on gut feeling. You keep the pitch that sounds best, the account that sends the most, the group with the most members. Sometimes that's right. Often the money was coming from somewhere you were about to stop.

TeleBoost closes the gap from both ends. On the way out, every contact gets a link of their own, so a click is never anonymous. On the way back, your affiliate program tells TeleBoost each time one of those clicks turns into a sign-up or a deposit. Between the two, the whole story of a lead sits in one place: the message they received, the moment they clicked, and what they paid.

A click count tells you people were curious. A deposit with a name on it tells you what to do tomorrow morning.

One link to write. A different link for every person.

You never copy short links by hand. You add your offer once in the Vault — say, your welcome bonus page — and give it a short name like welcome. In any message you write {link.welcome}, exactly like {first_name}.

When the message goes out, TeleBoost turns that tag into a short link made for that recipient and that message only. Lea gets one link, Marco gets another, and when one of them is opened, you know it was Lea, from the second message of your “Welcome DE” campaign, sent by your @promo_eu account.

  • Works in DM campaigns, follow-ups, group posts and replies from the Inbox
  • Telegram's link previews and known bots are kept out of your numbers — the counts are people
  • Change the destination later and every link already sent follows, with its history intact
  • Misspell a link in a message and the campaign won't launch until you fix it, instead of sending a sentence with a hole in it

The postback, explained without the jargon

A postback sounds technical. It isn't. It's your affiliate program calling TeleBoost back to say “the person from that click just signed up” or “just deposited $50”. Most affiliate programs and CPA networks support it — it's the same mechanism they use with dedicated tracking tools, usually under a name like postback URL, S2S or server-to-server.

The trick is a small tag called {click_id}. You add it to your offer's link, in the spot your program reserves for your own reference — often called sub-ID, subid or s1. Each click then carries its own ID to the program. When that player converts, the program sends the ID back, and TeleBoost knows exactly which contact it was.

  • Setup is one URL: copy it from TeleBoost, paste it into your program's postback settings
  • Registrations, first deposits (FTDs) and repeat deposits are recorded separately, with their amount and currency
  • Each transaction counts once, even if the program sends it twice
  • A chargeback or a rejected deposit is reversed, and the original stays on the record
  • A log shows every call your program made and why one was refused — usually a misnamed macro, fixed in a minute

Stop scaling the campaign everybody clicks

The most clicked offer is rarely the one that pays best. A loud “huge bonus” message gets curious clicks from people who never deposit; a quieter, targeted one gets fewer clicks and real players. Judge by clicks and you scale the wrong one.

Because deposits come back on each link, every report in TeleBoost can be sorted by what actually matters: money. Open a link and you see its conversions and revenue broken down by campaign, by message template, by sending account, by country and by landing page. Revenue per click (often called EPC) is worked out for you.

  • Example: “Free spins DE” — 180 clicks, 9 first deposits, $1,240. “Bonus blast” — 420 clicks, $310. Now you know which one to send again
  • See which of your Telegram accounts brings players, not just replies
  • Compare two versions of the same message by the deposits they produce
  • Revenue stays in its own currency — euros and dollars are never mixed into one made-up total

The right page for each person — from the same link

Affiliate offers depend on where people are and what they use. A German player should land on the German offer; someone on an iPhone may need the App Store page; a player from a country the program doesn't accept should land somewhere else entirely. You shouldn't need five links in five messages for that.

Each tracked link can send people to different pages by country or by device, test two landing pages against each other, and stop at a date you choose — useful for a bonus that ends on Sunday. After that, the same link opens an “offer ended” page instead of a dead end.

  • Country rules: Germany, Austria and Switzerland to one page, Brazil to another
  • Device rules: iPhone, Android or desktop
  • Split tests: share the clicks between two or more pages, then compare the deposits each one brought
  • A contact always lands on the same page of a test, even if they open the link twice
  • Expiry by date or after a number of clicks, with a fallback page

Your links, on your own domain

Spam filters and browsers judge links by the domain they're on. When everyone's links share one address, everyone shares one reputation. Connect a domain of your own — something like go.yourbrand.com — and your links build a reputation of their own.

It takes two records in your domain's DNS settings, both shown in TeleBoost, ready to copy. The secure HTTPS certificate is set up automatically, and new links go out on your domain as soon as it's ready. Links you've already sent keep working.

Part of the CRM, not a tool on the side

Tracked links live inside the same workspace as your contacts, campaigns and conversations, so a click is never just a number in a separate dashboard. It shows up on the contact's timeline, next to the messages they received. An automation can react to it — raise the lead's priority, assign the conversation to a teammate, set a reminder to follow up.

And because results come back on the contact, the rest of TeleBoost uses them too: a contact who deposits shows as converted, analytics count the revenue, and your team sees which conversations turned into players.

  • Each click on the contact's timeline, next to the messages they received
  • Automations triggered by a click: priority, owner, stage, reminder
  • Revenue from postbacks feeds the dashboard's Outcomes view
  • No complete IP address is ever stored — the country is looked up on our servers and only the country is kept

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Something else on your mind? Write to us and a person will answer.

Do I need to be technical to set this up?

No. You create a link by pasting your offer's URL and giving it a name, then write {link.name} in your messages. For deposits, you copy one URL from TeleBoost into your affiliate program's postback settings and match a few fields, like click_id and event. Most programs have a “test postback” button, and TeleBoost's postback log shows straight away whether the call arrived.

Which affiliate programs work with it?

Any program or network that can send a postback (also called S2S or server-to-server postback) and lets you pass your own reference in the link — usually a sub-ID field. That covers most iGaming, sportsbook, crypto and CPA affiliate programs. If yours only offers a dashboard with no postback, tracked links still show you who clicked, by name.

Does it replace my affiliate program or my tracker?

No. Your affiliate program still calculates commissions and pays you, and your tracker can stay in place. TeleBoost adds what they can't see: which Telegram conversation, message, account and contact a sign-up or deposit came from.

Are link previews and bots counted as clicks?

No. Telegram opens every link it sees to build a preview, and security scanners open links too. Those are recorded separately and never added to your click counts, so the numbers you read are people.

What does TeleBoost store about the people who click?

The time of the click, the country, the device and a shortened browser signature, plus a truncated network address used to avoid counting the same person twice — never a complete IP address. Click details are deleted after a retention period you choose; totals and recorded results stay.

Can I use my own domain for the links?

Yes. Add a domain you own, copy the two DNS records TeleBoost shows you, and the HTTPS certificate is set up automatically. You can connect up to five domains and choose one per link — handy if you promote several brands.

Which plans include link tracking?

Tracked links, postbacks and custom domains are included from the Starter plan. The Free plan lets you try the CRM and the inbox first.
